Arrest Buzz Around Two Prominent YSRCP Faces

There’s only one topic of discussion within the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) right now — the coalition government has strongly targeted two of its vocal leaders from Srikakulam district.

One of them is former minister Seediri Appalaraju from Palasa. A doctor-turned-politician, Appalaraju made a successful political debut, winning the MLA seat and soon becoming a minister.

He held sway over the region for five years. Now, with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) back in power, leaders are saying, “It’s our turn to settle scores.”

Currently, three cases have already been registered against him, and there’s speculation that more cases may be filed, eventually leading to his arrest.

The second leader under scrutiny is MLC Duvvada Srinivas. Both TDP and Jana Sena are targeting him. Jana Sena leaders, in particular, are upset over the past and ongoing comments made by Srinivas against their leader, Pawan Kalyan.

Since Tekkali MLA and minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu belongs to the ruling coalition, the focus on Duvvada has intensified. Reports suggest that even he may not be able to avoid arrest.

Both leaders now find themselves at the center of political retaliation as the coalition government tightens its grip.
