Known for his sharp tongue, senior actor Posani Krishna Murali on Monday made a scathing attack on Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for making baseless allegations of corruption against YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Posani, who has been openly supporting the YSRC of late, said the court were already looking into the allegations against Jaganmohan Reddy.
“The court will decide whether the allegations are true or not. But what about the allegations of massive corruption against you, Mr Naidu? Are you ready for undergoing narco-analysis test?” he asked.
The actor accused Naidu of heavily bribing 23 YSRC MLAs and making them defect to the TDP.
“Is it part of your development agenda to lure the opposition party MLAs?” he asked.
He alleged that Naidu himself was the biggest defector.
“He was in the Congress party and defected to the TDP later. He back-stabbed his father-in-law N T Rama Rao and usurped the party from him. Naidu was responsible for the untimely death of NTR,” Posani alleged.
He also questioned Naidu for blaming it on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for denying special category status to AP.
“You only said you are happy with the package. Now, how can you change your stand?” the actor asked.
On Pawan Kalyan, Posani said he was a man of integrity.
“However, it is too early to judge his political capabilities,” he said.
