Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan are 'heroes' on screen, but they seem to be 'zeroes' in Telangana politics, as indicated by their own family members who are contesting elections keeping them at arm's length.
We know that Chiranjeevi provided video endorsements in support of CM Ramesh and Kamineni Srinivas, who are contesting in Andhra Pradesh as MP and MLA candidates, respectively.
In fact, Chiranjeevi has no familial ties with either candidate. The common denominator between the two is their considerable wealth.
However, concerning his own family, Chiranjeevi did not endorse the candidacy of Konda Vishweswar Reddy, who is an uncle to Upasana Konidela.
Interestingly, Konda Vishweswar Reddy didn't even seek his endorsement. He is contesting from BJP in Telangana.
Another noteworthy point is that Chiranjeevi's brother Pawan's Jana Sena party is in alliance with the BJP.
One might have expected Pawan Kalyan to campaign for Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, due to family ties, but this did not materialize.
Does this lead us to conclude that both Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan have become 'zeroes' in Telangana politics? Can't they influence even a small percentage of voters with their campaigns? Have the politicians within their own family come to understand this situation?
