In a fresh twist to the controversy to shift the Chest Hospital from Erragadda and have the new Secretariat in its place, AP is contemplating a complaint to Prime Minister, Modi over this.
KCR is under fire from all quarters for his decision which is being termed as highly irrational and only aimed at benefitting the land sharks. However, Chandrababu feels it is a ploy to make the Seemandhra people leave Hyderabad as soon as possible.
“The decision to shift the hospital is against the AP Reorganization Act. When Hyderabad is the common capital for ten years, how can KCR take unilateral decisions on shifting of public buildings?” questioned Naidu.
He further added, “There are no super specialty hospitals in AP. Most people from AP have to come to Hyderabad for treatment. Many Andhra people avail of treatment at the Chest Hospital. By shifting it out of Hyderabad and locating it in areas of Telangana, KCR intends to make it as difficult as possible for the Seemandhra people in Hyderabad and thereby force them to move out of Hyderabad.”
Andhra Pradesh stepping into the brawl is only going to further the acrimonious atmosphere between the two States. But then, what else can one expect with two madmen as CM’s in both the States?
