Prominent daily The Hindu reported that several IAS officers posted in Andhra Pradesh were extremely unhappy and looking for transfers to Delhi or other States.
Even Satish Chandra, special secretary to the Chief Minister is looking for a posting in Delhi as Additional Secretary as he was pained at being snubbed by the Chief Minister and his aides in front of his colleagues and Ministers.
In all, 11 IAS officers had submitted their requests to Chief Secretary S.P. Tucker, pleading with the government to allow them to go to New Delhi by May last year.
A few officials are said to be unhappy as they feel that the Chief Minister snubs them in front of juniors at review meetings. Maybe the Chief Minister is just taking his frustration out on them as he is unable to find an answer to the questions raised by the Opposition parties.
