There is currently a debate among the fans and followers of Ashok Gajapathi Raju, a senior leader from Vizianagaram district and former Union Minister, regarding his eligibility for a key position.
The Kshatriya community did not receive representation in the cabinet this time.
Had Ashok won as an MLA, he would have likely become a minister and overseen important departments.
His daughter, Aditi Gajapathi Raju, ran for a seat and won. However, the opportunity was given to the BCs instead of Aditi.
Simultaneously, there is speculation that Ashok Gajapathi Raju might be considered for the post of TTD Chairman or a Governor position, given his stature.
Several names are being discussed for the TTD Chairman post. Among his followers, there's also debate over whether Ashok will be appointed Governor or if he will be sidelined.
Even if a Rajya Sabha seat is considered for him, it would require waiting another two years, and there are many other contenders.
It is known that Raghu Rama Raju and Pithapuram Varma from the Raju community are also facing similar challenges, not being offered appropriate positions in the cabinet.
Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Aditi Raju are now being added to that list.
