Another CBN Fraud Exposed

Another CBN Fraud Exposed

The state had promised 1,000 square yards of residential plot and 200 square yards of commercial area for each acre of dry land it acquired from the farmers.

For wetland, the farmers would get 1,000 square yards of residential and 450 square yards of commercial plot in Amaravathi as part of the land pooling deal.

But the TDP government after acquiring the land changed the rules and classified 5000 acres of fertile land as wet land. This means those farmers would get only 200 square yards of commercial plots now instead of 450 square yards.

When the angry farmers approached the judiciary, the TDP government in its defence said that it was the result of a ‘mistake’. How can a mistake be made in the case of 5000 acres?

And how can the rules be changed after acquisition of land? But that’s CBN for you: corruption, benamis and nepotism.
