Lok Satta chief Jayaprakash Narayan will be meeting Aad Aadmi Party head Arvind Kejriwal on January 11 in Delhi.
JP is moving his pawns to work in tandem with AAP in the state.
However, it has come into hearing that a group of people have started to Delhi to complain against JP to Kejriwal.
There was a time when JP was considered to be an intellectual who was politically unbiased and who had a set of morals and values. But in the recent times, he has come under scathing criticism especially when he copied the TDP’s stand on the sensitive Telangana issue.
There is also criticism against Jaya Prakash for targeting Jagan and YSRCP for being corrupt while being silent on the wrong doings of the TDP.
Also, Jaya Prakash was the only leader from Lok Satta who was voted to power during the last elections. This clearly shows that he failed to take his party along and establish it in the state. Though there are no direct corruption allegations against him, many are questioning JP’s link ups with certain people.
Given this background, it is being said that a few who are doing the ground work for AAP in the state, are leaving for Delhi to warn Kejriwal about him.
It is being said that they are likely to suggest that AAP should not have any kind of tie up with either Lok Satta or any other party in the state as it could adversely affect the party’s image here.
On the other hand, the Lok Satta cadre is reiterating that JP will not be discussing poll tie up. They say he will discuss broader issues like fighting against corruption and bringing about institutional changes to facilitate the same.
We will have to wait and watch as to how Jaya Prakash Narayan’s game plan will shape up!
