Nellore rural MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy on Tuesday said the comment of former minister and senior Congress leader J C Diwakar Reddy that YSRCP and Congress party had a tacit understanding might be a fact.
Anam said the doubt that YSRC and Congress had colluded was haunting the Congress leaders and workers.
He further stated that they should respect the comments of a senior party leader like Diwakar Reddy.
“If the state is divided, the chances of Naxalites surfacing are more. The task force set up to look into security aspects should consider this aspect,” he said.
He said bifurcation should not lead to making Hyderabad another Kashmir, and the process of division should be stopped.
Reacting on the comments of TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and Congress MP V Hanumantha Rao that they would protect the Seemandhra people living in Hyderabad and Telangana, Reddy said Hyderabad and Telangana are not their own properties.
“We are capable of protecting ourselves”, he asserted.
