AIADMK cadre had big plans to protest against the arrest of Jayalalitha. Ever since she was put in jail, they went berserk as they argued that she was not jailed for having illegal assets.
They felt that the way she was accused in the case was not appropriate.
Right from Panneerselvam who took over the reins from Jayalalitha as the CM to the grass root level worker in her party, everyone expressed their resentment in some way or the other. They also pledged that they will continue to protest till Amma is released.
Since Panneerselvam cannot take to streets and protest, he chose a more simple method to show his resentment. He pledged that he will not shave till Amma is out.
Though he was making sure that the AIADMK workers did not create trouble by resorting to violence, he showed his resentment by not shaving.
But luckily for him, even before his beard grew very long, Amma got bail. So, now all the AIADMK leaders are being spotted clean shaved.
After Amma has been released, they shaved their beards and are looking clean and smart like corporate employees.
