After All, Buyer Ramoji Rao Owns The Land...

Dunnevadide bhoomi was a popular slogan of the ’60s and ’70s, but it is used from time to time by politicians to instigate voters.

Telangana Chief Minister was one such agitator who promised the moon to all T voters saying that he would take back every inch of land from the ‘bourgeoisie and hegemonistic’ Andhra rulers.

Well, Telangana is now a reality and KCR is playing the perfect politician by making new friends out of old foes.

After claiming that he would make Ramoji Rao vacate the land on which Ramoji Film City has been constructed, KCR now says that every inch of RFC has been bought by Ramoji Rao and that there has been no illegal encroachment.

In fact, the situation has come to a point where jokes have been floating around in political circles that KCR might take the spiritual path and spend his time at the Om City, another venture being promoted by Ramoji Rao.

If one looks at the track record of Mr Ramoji Rao, there have been litigations wherever he set up shop. The buildings occupied by him to run Eenadu in Hyderabad and Vizag were under litigation for a long time and eventually he won the case through courts. Now he appears to have won over KCR with his charm and intelligence. And the effect is for all to see.

There was a time not long ago, when KCR made big promises saying that he would take back the land from Ramoji Rao and get the farmers to plough the land with 1 lakh ploughs and grow bitter gourd on the site.

KCR even said he will make sure that the farmers make at least Rs 1 crore per acre.

Looks like KCR no longer recollects his words. He seems to be pretty happy praising Ramoji Rao to the skies and calling him a man with a vision.

On his part, Ramoji Rao too has returned the favour by carrying a banner story about the able administration of KCR.

But the million dollar question on the minds of many is what arm-twisting did Ramoji Rao do to make KCR do a U turn and applaud his achievements?
