Telugu Desam Party president and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu might be hoping to deal a jolt to YSR Congress party in Kadapa district by roping the latter’s MLA from Jammalamadugu Adinarayana Reddy into the TDP, but it is all set to give a rude jolt to himself.
Former minister and TDP leader from Jammalamadugu Rama Subba Reddy made it clear that he would have to look for alternatives, if Adinarayana is admitted into the TDP.
“I will remain in the TDP for now. I will take a decision on quitting the TDP and joining some other party depending on the circumstances and opinions of my followers in the constituency in the coming days,” he said.
Rama Subba Reddy said he was not unhappy in the TDP at present and was not against the party.
“However, I strongly oppose the admission of Adinarayana Reddy into the TDP. If it happens, I will have to take my own decision,” he asserted.
