The names of those who are living in Hyderabad and continue to do farming in Andhra Pradesh haven’t been included in the list of people eligible for loan waivers.
In fact, according to the new Andhra Pradesh government, all these people are not eligible for waivers.
The officials have made it clear that all those who live in Telangana’s Hyderabad and possess Aadhar cards will not be eligible for loan waivers in Andhra Pradesh state.
Naturally, this has resulted in many debtors crying foul. But the officials have made it clear that they will become eligible if they give up the Aadhar cards of Telangana.
Meanwhile, many are wondering if it is correct to eliminate those who were living in Hyderabad in erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh.
On the other hand, there are many who are worried that their names haven’t figured on the list. Similarly, some are complaining that though their loans were as little as Rs 50,000, the total amount hasn’t been cleared.
