Chandrababu Naidu says that the entire loan waiver is going to take a period of five years and would be done in a phased manner.
"I would have cleared the entire loan in one go if AP had the finances, but since the state is going through a financial deficit, it will take us that long,” said Naidu.
Blaming the opposition for unnecessarily creating a ruckus over the issue, Naidu said that he is a man of his word and would fulfill all his promises.
Would any responsible leader make such a promise in the first place knowing that the coffers are empty?
Naidu did and having come to power on the basis of such promises, he is trying his best to dilute his promise in its entirety by attaching all sorts of riders like making ‘Aadhar’ etc mandatory for one to eligible for a waiver.
So, the first term of Naidu would be dedicated to the loan waiver. will he announce a fresh loan waiver in 2019?
