Seemandhra agitators would leave for New Delhi shortly in as many as 40 trains to lay siege to the national capital if the Centre goes ahead with the Telangana bill in Parliament.
This was announced by Congress MP from Vijayawada Lagadapati Rajagopal.
Reiterating his opposition to bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, Lagadapati Rajagopal on Sunday said they would mount pressure on the Centre to reconsider its decision on AP State Reorganisation Bill.
“Serving a no-confidence notice on the UPA government was just a trial. If the Centre goes ahead on the issue of bifurcation, we will be compelled to oppose it with more vigor. We will go to Delhi in 30 to 40 trains to oppose bifurcation of the State”, he added.
