20 Loopholes In Telangana Bill

Seemandhra TDP MLAs on Tuesday demanded that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar send back the Bill which was not perfect to discuss.

Senior MLAs Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu and Dulipalla Narendra alleged that there were 20 loopholes in the bill which was against spirit of the Constitution. 

They alleged that there was no financial statement and there were no statement on aims and objectives. 

They said their leader Payyavula Keshav has addressed a letter to the Chief Secretary in this regard and in response the latter addressed a letter to the Union Home Ministry. 

The Union Home Ministry stated that they will rectify the Bill and send it to the Assembly. They alleged that there were no Group of Ministers (GoM) recommendations and Antony Committees recommendations in the Bill.

Stating that it is not at all a bill, they asked the Speaker to send it back to the President. 

They further said the Centre and state governments were not taking the House into confidence in regard to the Bill. 

They said the Speaker responded to their point and stated that he will consider the facts.
