YSRCP decides to end row over Jagan-Sharmila dispute!

After launching a massive attack on Andhra Pradesh Congress party president Y S Sharmila over the property dispute for the past few days, the YSR Congress party has decided to put an end to the controversy, pending the disposal of the case in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).

According to party sources, YSRCP president and former chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy suggested to the party leaders and cadre not to make any public statements with regard to the dispute with Sharmila.

Apparently, the party has decided to turn the fight between Jagan and Sharmila into an attack on the Telugu Desam Party, which it feels, has been trying to capitalise on the family dispute and using the same to divert the public attention from its failures.

The party posted a message on X on Sunday night saying the TDP-led National Democratic Alliance government had miserably failed to implement any of its schemes promised before the elections and taken the state backwards on many fronts.

“In a bid to divert the people’s attention from its failures and lawlessness in the state, the Naidu government brought in several issues, the latest one being the family issues of Jagan Mohan Reddy. The TDP’s social media wing and its pro-media has distorted thee family issues of Jagan,” the party alleged.

The party said it had already placed all the details of the issue before the people and they will decide who is right and who is wrong in this regard.

“Moreover, the issue is presently in the court and so, both the sides have the chance of presenting their arguments before the court. Therefore, the YSRCP wants to put an end to the issue,” it said.

The party said hereafter the leaders and cadre would focus on exposing the misdeeds and failures of the Naidu government and stand by the people in raising their issues at every forum.
