Even as YSR Telangana Party president Y S Sharmila is giving diplomatic answers on the speculations over the launching of her party in Andhra Pradesh, the ruling YSR Congress party seems to be undisturbed over the rumours.
On Monday, Sharmila’s husband Anil Kumar evaded answers from the media on the reported plans of expanding YSRTP in Andhra Pradesh.
He said he was not associated with the YSRTP and hence, he cannot any questions related to it.
“I have nothing to do with the party and so, I don’t want to speak about her plans,” he said.
However, senior YSR Congess party leader and state minister for municipal administration Botsa Satyanarayana told reporters in Tirupati that there was no trouble for the YSRC, even if Sharmila launches a new party in Andhra Pradesh.
“We don’t mind if Sharmila launches a new party in Andhra Pradesh. It will be one among the 10 parties in the state. It will not make any difference for the YSR Congress party,” Botsa said.
The YSRCP leader said the TDP was completely wiped out from the state politics and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu would soon disappear from the political arena.
“We are able to sense his frustration during his ongoing tour in Kuppam. He is desperate to bring back some life into the dead party,” Botsa criticised.
