YSR Congress MP from Araku Goddeti Madhavi is all set to get married to her childhood love Sivaprasad on October 17.
The pre-wedding video film of the couple shot in Araku, Paderu and surrounding areas comprising lush green fields, forests and water falls, is going viral in the social media. The couple took a pre-wedding photo shoot recently.
Madhavi, the 26-year old physical education teacher who worked on contract basis for a tribal school being run by Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) at Paderu in Visakhapatnam district before becoming an MP,
The wedding ceremony will be held at Sharabhanna Pallem village. After the wedding, Madhavi will throw a reception at one of the tourism resorts at Rushikinda near Visakhapatnam.
Sivaprasad, who is a native of Kedipeta village, has completed his MBA and is currently working as a correspondent in a college. Apparently, it is an inter-caste marriage and elders of both the sides have given their consent.
Madhavi won by a massive margin of over two and a half lakh votes against former Union Minister and senior leader V Kishore Chandra Deo.
Though she was new to politics and had not known the constituency beyond Paderu, she was hesitant to contest the elections.
But she took it as a challenge. The good name earned by her father late G Demudu, a two-time CPI legislator from Paderu in 1994 and 2004 brought her a lot of goodwill in the elections.
