The yellow media in Andhra Pradesh is sparing no effort in crafting stories in support of the TDP ahead of the 2024 general election.
One after another, the media outlets are publishing surveys predicting a significant victory for the TDP. These surveys are either originating from Delhi or being concocted in Telangana, all showing positive results for the TDP.
In addition to these surveys, they are also running stories against the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government.
Starting with their headline story, the yellow media is featuring anti-Jagan narratives on almost every page, except for the business, sports, and entertainment sections.
However, it's questionable whether this approach will yield results for the yellow media, as they followed a similar strategy before the 2019 general election.
Back then, they published favorable stories about the TDP and negative stories about the YSR Congress in the lead-up to the election.
Similarly, now, the yellow media is promoting positive narratives for the TDP and negative narratives for the YSR Congress. But the significant question remains: will the public embrace these fabricated stories?
And what will be the fate of the yellow media if their predictions turn out to be inaccurate after the elections?
