YCP Social Media In Wrong Direction

YCP Social Media In Wrong Direction

The purpose of a dedicated social media wing for any political party is to post and share content that attracts votes for the party and counterattacks opponents when faced with false allegations, negative campaigns, or misrepresentations.

However, what the YCP social media wing is currently doing is heading in the wrong direction.

When Alla Ramakrishna Reddy left the YCP, the social media wing targeted him with trolls. The leader who was once dear to them suddenly became an enemy and a subject for trolling.

Similarly, when Sharmila joined the Congress, they distanced her and targeted her with trolls, not giving value for her personal relationship with Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Recently, Ambati Rayudu, who tweeted something against the YCP, has also become a target for trolling.

Not stopping there, what is even more regrettable is that this wing is picking up mistakes from Revanth Reddy's interview with ABN Radhakrishna and trolling him as well.

What is the purpose of all this? Will it help in garnering votes for the YCP? What is the use of targeting unnecessary individuals?

In the first place, why bother about those who leave the party or those who didn't receive tickets from Jagan?

Instead, this wing should focus on meaningful content without wasting a single minute. Criticizing mistakes and engaging in unnecessary activities at a crucial time could negatively impact the situation.

On the other hand, Jagan Mohan Reddy should personally involve himself in pacifying candidates instead of delegating the responsibility to middlemen like advisors and others.

The lack of communication is the culprit in this scenario, whether it's the relationship with candidates or the activities of social media.

Jagan Mohan Reddy should have announced the name of Ambati Rayudu when decided. Holding the announcement and sending signals of suspicion, making him feel uncomfortable, is a result of a communication gap.

To conclude on serious note, the YCP social media wing is currently directionless in all aspects. It should rectify itself before something undesirable occurs.
