Why YS Jagan Is Impatient With Media?

From the beginning, there has been a noticeable gap between Jagan Mohan Reddy and the media. Critics argue that he maintains this distance intentionally.

As the head of a media house himself, one would expect Jagan to be more engaged with the media, but he seems to show little interest in it.

When Jagan gives a speech, he typically follows a scripted format, enforcing a rule that no questions are allowed during his address.

After delivering his prepared remarks, he often leaves without interacting with the media. This practice has led to criticism, with many noting that Jagan's approach to the media has remained unchanged since his time in the opposition.

During his five years in power, he reportedly did not hold a single press conference with a Q&A session.

On rare occasions when the media does get a chance to interact with him, the exchanges often feel one-sided, with Jagan expecting the media to report his statements without posing any questions.

Recently, Jagan held a press conference after visiting former MP Nandigam Suresh, who is currently in jail in Guntur.

During this event, journalists attempted to ask questions, but Jagan responded by handing over the papers in his hand and expressing his frustration with the media. A video of this incident went viral on social media.

As a former Chief Minister and party leader, Jagan faces many questions from the media and should handle these inquiries with patience and composure.

Regardless of his personal feelings, maintaining a professional demeanor is crucial. Critics argue that Jagan's impatience with the media is damaging his image.

The TDP has been emphasizing the importance of media relations and the benefits of engaging with the press. However, Jagan seems to believe in connecting directly with the people, disregarding the media's role.

The key point is that media reports influence people's perceptions of their leaders, and the way Jagan is portrayed in the media could impact his image.
