Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been continuously releasing white papers, alleging widespread looting during the YSRCP regime.
He has released four white papers so far, criticizing the YSRCP government harshly. In the white paper on natural resource exploitation, Chandrababu has mentioned sensational issues.
Chandrababu has claimed that 1.75 lakh acres of land were encroached upon during the YSRCP regime, valued at Rs. 35,000 crores. He also alleged massive looting in sand and mining, estimating a value of Rs. 20,000 crores.
While Chandrababu makes these sensational allegations, it seems the YSRCP lacks leaders to give fitting responses.
The Sakshi media appears to be the only support for countering Chandrababu's white papers. Former minister Merugu Nagarjuna came forward to challenge Chandrababu in front of the media.
Shouldn't the ministers from the revenue and mining departments in erstwhile Jagan's cabinet be responding to Chandrababu's allegations? Where are they?
Is it enough to write a banner story in the Sakshi newspaper calling Chandrababu's allegations outright lies? Is it the responsibility of the Sakshi media to counter Babu?
Why can't former YSRCP ministers like Dharmana Prasada Rao and Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy give PowerPoint presentations similar to Chandrababu?
The YSRCP leaders, who are eager to show their authority, are now drawing criticism for not stepping forward when the party needs them.
Many believe that due to the YSRCP's negligence and indifferent attitude, people are starting to believe Chandrababu's statements as the truth.
YSRCP leaders should come forward in the media and clarify how Chandrababu's allegations are outright lies. If these clarifications are published as headlines in the Sakshi newspaper, people will believe them. This is what the YSRCP needs to do as well.
The party chief, YS Jagan, should consider this seriously. People will not appreciate unrelated leaders coming forward to provide explanations while Chandrababu is making severe allegations.
