Why is Pawan not allying with TDP?

With every passing day, Jana Sena Party chief and actor Pawan Kalyan has been coming out with more and more clarity on his discreet understanding with ruling Telugu Desam Party.

His latest comments accusing the Telangana Rashtra Samithi of threatening Andhra people and forcing them to support YSR Congress stands testimony to this understanding.

But one fails to understand why Jana Sena Party did not have direct alliance with the TDP, instead of secret pact.

YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has an answer to this doubt.

Without naming the Jana Sena Party, Jagan said Naidu had of late promoted and financed a petty party which had identical colours of YSRC and had joined hands with an actor who could not dare contest in alliance with TDP.

“The actor knows well that TDP is a sinking boat and he too will drown into oblivion in the election. The purpose of supporting this party is only to divide the anti-incumbency votes and playing the card of social groups. But it will not work in this charged up atmosphere which is overwhelming seeking a change,” he said, addressing a rally at Chilakaluripet on Sunday.

He said the 'actor' was the secret supporter of Naidu and he would follow the orders of the TDP chief.

“In the process, the actor is also allotting tickets to the people only mentioned by Naidu,” he pointed out, adding that TDP flags could be seen in the rallies conducted by Jana Sena candidates while filing nominations.

Indirectly, he also made a reference to Praja Santhi Party of evangelist K A Paul. He said that new parties had emerged for supporting TDP and Naidu had turned out as the producer for all those parties. He asked people not to get cheated by Naidu one more time.
