Why Is Naidu Silent On Presidential Election?

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is silent on the Presidential election. He is yet to make his party’s stand clear on the election.

It is not known yet to which candidate the TDP members would vote. It is also a big question whether the TDP chief had told the members to vote according to their choice or had a choice for the party.

Chandrababu Naidu is known for claiming big on the election of Presidents and Prime Ministers in the past.

He claims very often that he rejected the offers to be the Prime Minister and made several Prime Ministers and Presidents in the past.

Chandrababu Naidu was in the National Front first and later in the United Front. Then he moved on to the NDA during his stint as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and president of TDP.

The list is included I K Gujral and H D Deve Gowda as Prime Ministers, A P J Abdul Kalam as the President.

He claims that he played key role in the national politics in the formation of governments at the Centre.

Even in the election of Ram Nath Kovid as President, he played a supportive role in the election.

Naidu invited Ram Nath Kovind to AP Assembly and accompanied him all through as part of the election campaign.

However, this time, Chandrababu Naidu is completely silent on the Presidential election. He is neither with the NDA nor with the opposition.

Even his party MPs and MLAs have no clue whom to vote on July 18?
