What Is This Nonsense, Bhuvaneswari?

What Is This Nonsense, Bhuvaneswari?

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s wife, Bhuvaneswari, is attempting to garner public sympathy over her husband’s arrest by the state government.

She is currently touring the state, meeting the family members of those who died after Naidu’s arrest. Additionally, she is addressing public meetings, primarily attended by women who were mobilized by the TDP and paid for their participation.

Bhuvaneswari claims that she has been victimized and is facing a crisis following her husband’s arrest. She asserts that, as a wife, she is bearing the burden of this situation, which was unnecessary for the family.

However, there are at least 2000 male prisoners in Rajamahendravaram central jail, where Naidu is also incarcerated. What about the wives of these men in jail? Were they not experiencing similar struggles to what Bhuvaneswari is facing?

In fact, all these 2000 prisoners lack amenities such as air conditioning and the option to receive home-cooked food, which Naidu enjoys. Moreover, their healthcare is not guaranteed by the jail officials, and medical teams do not visit the prisoners three times a day.

Did the wives of these prisoners not face the same challenges that Bhuvaneswari is facing now?

Why are these TDP women trying to evoke public sympathy by emphasizing Bhuvaneswari’s suffering as a wife?

Above all, were there no women in YSR's family when Jagan Mohan Reddy was arrested and sent to jail? What did those women do when Jagan was arrested? Did they lament like widows or did they fight back on political grounds?

Why isn't Bhuvaneswari engaging in the political battle, and why is she attempting to evoke sentiments among women?
