Watch: YS Jagan's Sarcasm On URSA Land Deal

It is already well known that the URSA land deal has become the biggest controversy in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Responding to this, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy spoke in his characteristic sarcastic style.

Jagan Mohan Reddy stated, "An unknown company named URSA with no address has been given land worth 3,000 crores by the government. I don’t know if idlis cost one rupee, but in Chandrababu Naidu’s regime, public land is given away for 99 paise per acre, followed by mutual distribution schemes among himself and others. In Visakhapatnam, the government has allocated land worth thousands of crores to the Lulu Group without any tender process, and distribution of fortune has already begun. We are witnessing the looting of the state from all directions."

He further alleged, "During Chandrababu’s earlier regime, the tender values for the same were 36,000 crores. Now, despite reduced cement and steel prices, the tender values have risen to 78,000 crores, and these tenders are awarded to closely connected contractors. Previously, there was no mobilization advance; the government paid only after work was completed. But now, advances have been introduced. This means the government provides a 10% mobilization advance to contractors, who then allegedly return an 8% kickback."

Jagan Mohan Reddy continued, "Why are there no 'Super Six' or 'Super Seven' schemes? Why could I deliver, while Chandrababu is unable to? Because I pressed buttons to send money directly to beneficiaries. I had warned before the elections that money goes into Chandrababu’s pockets, not to the people."
