Dollars Divakar Reddy, a well-known figure among Telugus, is seeking the nomination to contest from the Chandragiri constituency on behalf of the TDP in the upcoming Assembly Elections.
He recently gave an exclusive interview to GreatAndhra.Com, shedding light on his perspective on Andhra Pradesh politics and his motivation behind entering the electoral fray as an MLA candidate.
When questioned about his decision to enter politics despite having a successful business, he expressed, "My goal is not just to earn and relax. I have a passion for serving people to the best of my ability. While I can contribute to service without being in politics, being actively involved allows me to make a more significant impact, particularly in addressing the needs of the unemployed and underprivileged. That's why I've ventured into politics."
Regarding his choice of the challenging Chandragiri constituency, he responded, "I am rooted in this area, familiar with its dynamics and the individuals involved. I have a strong network in my mandal comprising manpower, friends, followers, and relatives. Hence, selecting Chandragiri is undoubtedly the right decision for me."
It's worth noting that Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy's son Chevireddy Mohit Reddy, a close associate of Jagan Mohan Reddy, is contesting from the same constituency as the YCP candidate. When asked about the potential challenges of competing against such a formidable opponent, Divakar Reddy provided a detailed response.
