30-years in the Industry, Prudhvi is one of the busiest actors in Tollywood today. He has typical comic timing.
In the recent past, he hit the headlines as he lent unequivocal support to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in last two years and took on the opponents of YS Jagan during the election campaign.
Now that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has become Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Prudhvi is hogging all the limelight.
Prudhvi has made a strong allegation against Tollywood biggies. He said that major Telugu top heroes, directors and producers are not happy with YS Jagan getting power and they are not coming forward to support him.
He also accused that some are trying to spoil the chances for him in the industry.
Two producers removed him from the films. Prudhvi made some strong comments on Naga Babu.
He revealed that Naga Babu openly said that he made two producers to remove Prudhvi from the films. Interestingly, he has soft corner towards Chiranjeevi.
“He has been my inspiration. I stepped into industry taking inspiration from Chiranjeevi garu and I am also playing a key role in Sye Raa”, he said.
Prudhvi on the other hand said that with the rise of directors from Telangana region he’s feeling secure for various reasons.
The comedian also tried to evade the answer about his expulsion from Allu Arjun – Trivikram’s film but it was evident that he was first approached for the movie by Trivikram. But he is not playing a role in that movie now.
Prudhvi also informed that he changed his name from Prudhvi Naidu to Prudhvi Raju after Prabhakar Reddy advised him.
