Vote Count Today: Will It Be Jagan 2.0 Or TDP Kutami Surprise?

With the counting day of the General Elections 2024 drawing near, the Telugu Desam and the ruling YSRC are brimming with anticipation and excitement for the celebrations in Visakhapatnam. 

Both parties have set up large screens at their offices for watching the election results. 

Both parties have made arrangements to provide live updates of each constituency’s result. 

The TD-BJP-JS alliance and the YSRC expressed confidence that they would win the 2024 polls. 

YSRC leaders are ready to book the hotels and resorts in Vizag and TD and JS leaders in Vijayawada once trends are clear.

For the Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, a total of 2,387 candidates are in the fray. Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy (Pulivendula), TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu (Kuppam), and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan (Pithapuram) are among the key candidates.

In 2019, the YSRCP secured a landslide victory, winning 151 of the 175 Assembly seats with a 49.95 per cent vote share. The TDP could only secure 23 seats with 39.17 per cent of the votes while the remaining seat went to the Jana Sena.
