Especially in Kadapa, where Sharmila is contesting as the Congress candidate for the Lok Sabha elections, Viveka's murder is dominating discussions.
Sharmila has been targeting her brother, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, and cousin Y S Avinash Reddy, who is her contender on the YSRCP ticket.
Meanwhile, Sunitha has been traveling from town to town, delivering presentations to the public, explaining how Avinash Reddy orchestrated her father's murder. She appeals to the people to vote out the Jagan Mohan Reddy government.
Although Avinash Reddy attempted to counter these allegations by attacking Sharmila and Sunitha, his defense proved ineffective. People perceive it as weak.
Hence, social media activists supporting the ruling party have started circulating videos about Viveka's second family on social media. Their aim is to emphasize that he fell victim to internal family disputes, absolving Avinash Reddy of any involvement in his murder.
In addition to highlighting Viveka's illicit marital relations, pro-YSRCP social media groups are also focusing on property disputes within his family that may have contributed to the murder.
These efforts are clearly aimed at sparking public discussion and debate in Kadapa to minimize the negative impact on Avinash's election prospects.
