In a swift move, BJP leader Vishnu Vardhan Reddy had welcomed TDP MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan to join the BJP.
Responding to the report that Vamsi had resigned to the primary membership of the TDP, the BJP leader wanted Vamsi to join the national party.
He said that several strong and popular leaders from Andhra Pradesh were looking towards BJP. Most of the leaders were not happy with the TDP or the YSR Congress.
Vishnuvardhan Reddy claimed that several TDP leaders were now holding consultations at various levels with the BJP leaders. He predicted the end of TDP in AP and further said that there is no future for Jana Sena.
The TDP and the Jana Sena have become private limited companies and they have no future in AP. The BJP doors for these two parties were also closed permanently, he said. However, the doors are open for the TDP or Jana Sena leaders, he said.
He said that the TDP was losing its leaders, while Jana Sena has no cadre base. These two parties are not the real alternatives to the YSR Congress in the State.
Vishnuvardhan Reddy recalled that the YSR Congress had made several corruption charges against the TDP government in the past and wondered why the government is silent now.
He said that the BJP would welcome any move by the State government to order probe into the TDP’s corruption and irregularities.
