Varra Arrested At Last, Wife Cries Foul

Notorious social media activist of YSR Congress party Narra Ravindra Reddy, who has been facing several cases for posting abusive and vulgar comments against the political rivals of the party and their family members, was at last shown arrested by the police in Kadapa district on Monday.

Varra, who hails from Pulivendula was brought to Chinta Komma Dinne (C K Dinne) police station in the morning and is being subject to questioning.

He is likely to be presented before the media in the evening and later produced in the local court for judicial remand.

He has been facing as many as 30 cases in registered in various police stations in Pulivendula, Kadapa, Mangalagiri, Rajampet and Hyderabad.

Varra allegedly posted vulgar comments against chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan, ministers Nara Lokesh and Vangalapudi Anita, besides their family members.

He also did not spare Jagan’s sister and Andhra Congress president Y S Sharmila and cousin Dr N Sunitha who have rebelled against him, from his vulgar and abusive posts on social media.

Meanwhile, Varra’s wife Kalyani staged a dharna in front of C K Dinne police station for illegally detaining her husband.

“He has been missing for the last five days and now, they say the police have arrested him today. If anything happens to my husband, the government will have to own responsibility,” she said.
