"Pathaan," starring Shah Rukh Khan, is not slowing down. The film continued to perform impressively at the box office. Another weekend, another strong showing for the action drama.
Over the weekend in the United States, the film earned another $2.7 million. So far, it has earned $14 million.
On Monday, the film will surpass RRR's lifetime earnings of $14.3 million to become the second-highest grossing Indian film in North America.
It will be difficult to surpass the $20 million gross of "Baahubali 2," but "Pathaan" will add more money in the coming days.
"Writer Padmabhushan," on the other hand, surprised everyone by taking the lead among Telugu releases.
The film grossed $200k in its first weekend and became a smash hit. This is a massive sum for a film of this range. It benefited from favourable reviews and word-of-mouth.
Sundeep Kishan's much-touted gangster drama came in second place with $90k. However, it is a flop.
"Butta Bomma," a remake of a Malayalam hit, failed to attract an audience and was a flop. The film made less than $10k in its first weekend.
