The Wage revision is completed in Andhra Pradesh. The TDP media awaited something unpleasant to the employees. But surprisingly the retirement age is also extended to 62 years making every employee happy with the good news before Pongal.
Now there is no point left for the TDP media to poke into the matter and cook up something bitter and serve the public.
So, this media has chosen a separate route. Now it is lamenting that extending the retirement age to 62 years is bad news for many unemployed youth living in the state.
The news daily didn't think twice before writing this stuff. The brains of this daily seem to be as old as the birth of time. Are the youth really worried about government jobs these days?
Earlier there used to be the security of pensions after retirement. But now, that isn't there. Many are opting for lucrative private jobs but not waiting for the government to open the doors for employment.
Earlier it was Chadrababu who extended the retirement age from 58 to 60. The media that hailed him at that time is criticizing Jagan Mohan Reddy now for extending the same to 62.
