Many promises were made by the TDP alliance before the general elections. Not only did Chandrababu Naidu's manifesto highlight these commitments, but several NRIs with TDP inclinations also formed a group, promising to create 100,000 jobs for Andhra Pradesh's youth if the TDP returned to power.
They chose to campaign independently, each aligning with their TDP MLA candidates, and pledged to generate these high quality international job opportunities for the State's youth.
However, now no one is talking about these promises.
Many students who moved to the USA two years ago are struggling to find jobs. In this scenario, if the TDP NRIs could provide jobs to those Andhra Pradesh students, they would be remembered forever.
In a way, the NRI community could showcase their influence by securing jobs for AP youth, even when the world is facing challenges in the job market.
Many believe that TDP NRIs run consultancy businesses in the USA and if they decide seriously they can place many AP students in high profile US jobs.
