TDP Leadership Takes Action Against Kolikapudi

The TDP has finally laid the groundwork for addressing concerns surrounding Tiruvuru MLA, Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu faced intense opposition from within his own party, particularly from a certain social group, regarding Kolikapudi’s conduct.

There was immense pressure on the party leadership to sideline Kolikapudi at any cost. As a result, the Kolikapudi issue became a significant headache for the TDP leadership.

In response, the TDP leadership has now turned its attention to closely monitoring Kolikapudi’s actions.

The decision has been made to form a coordination committee to oversee and curb his influence in Tiruvuru. This was publicly announced by Varla Ramaiah, a member of the party's politburo.

It has been made clear that Kolikapudi will no longer be able to make decisions on his own, with the coordination committee now responsible for overseeing all important matters.

This decision has been met with joy by Kolikapudi's detractors. Criticism of Kolikapudi's practices has been prevalent since the beginning.

Many within the party, especially from Babu's social group, have accused Kolikapudi of failing to stand by the TDP’s interests and instead focusing on his personal gain.

There have even been allegations of inappropriate behavior, including sending objectionable messages to women.

Faced with this mounting criticism, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu made the decision to contain Kolikapudi from the outset.

In his characteristic style, Naidu devised a plan to rein him in by establishing the coordination committee.
