It has been reported that Chandrababu Naidu plans to make a significant announcement during the upcoming party festival, Mahanadu, which is scheduled to take place in Rajahmundry on May 27 and 28.
Sources within the party suggest that he intends to announce the party's candidates for the election during the two-day festival.
So far, Chandrababu and Lokesh have announced candidates in some constituencies, with Chandrababu announcing some during his tours, and Lokesh announcing others during his padayatra.
The party has stated that they have jointly announced candidates in around 50 constituencies, and their performance is currently under review.
In light of this, there will be a public meeting held on May 28 as part of the Mahanadu festival.
It is reported that Chandrababu is considering announcing the candidates again during this open meeting.
Historically, candidates have not been announced during Mahanadu. However, some party members have suggested that doing so would generate enthusiasm among both the candidates and the party, given the importance of the upcoming elections for TDP.
