Telugu Desam leaders are gathering information about various health problems faced by former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Rajahmundry Central Jail, intending to use these details as grounds to secure his bail from the courts.
The TD chief has been dealing with skin infections, for which the jail authorities have provided an air conditioner in accordance with court orders to help him overcome these issues.
Additionally, Chandrababu Naidu is struggling with lower back pain and fissures, which are causing difficulties in his bowel movements. He has already undergone a cataract operation for one eye, with pending surgery for the other eye.
Jail superintendent Rahul confirmed that regular medical check-ups are being conducted on Naidu, and reports of these examinations are being sent to higher officials and Chandrababu Naidu’s wife, Bhuvaneswari.
However, Telugu Desam leaders are accusing the jail authorities of concealing facts about Chandrababu Naidu's health.
Telugu Desam leader and Rajamahendravaram Urban MLA Adireddy Bhavani’s husband, Adireddy Srinivas, expressed concern about the TD chief’s health in prison. Party members plan to bring his health issues to the attention of the High Court.
TD leaders stated that Naidu needs to undergo proctoscopy, as well as blood renal and liver tests, among other procedures.
