Now, here is yet another news about former YSR Congress party MP from Ongole and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s uncle Y V Subba Reddy.
According to this latest news coming from the party sources, Subba Reddy is not going to be appointed as the chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams trust board.
Instead, he is going to be nominated for Rajya Sabha in the elections to be held in March next year.
Jagan is understood to have told Subba Reddy that he would be sent to Rajya Sabha and till then, he should take care of the party activities.
Apparently, Jagan has been under tremendous pressure to fill up the TTD chairman post, due to tough competition from too many contenders.
Apparently, Jagan is considering the name of former Rajampet MLA Akepati Amarnath Reddy for the TTD chairman post.
Amarnath sacrificed his MLA seat to Meda Mallikarjun Reddy from Rajampet in the recent assembly elections.
Tirupati MLA and former TTD chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy is also said to be in the race for the post for a second term, in case he cannot be accommodated in the Jagan’s cabinet.
Even Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy is also keen on becoming the TTD chairman, sources said.
