Jana Sena Party headed by power star Pawan Kalyan is facing strange political contradictions within the alliance he has formed with Bahujan Sama Party, CPI and CPI (M).
It became pretty evident during the visit of Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati to Andhra Pradesh in the last two days.
Pawan’s main enemies are Telugu Desam Party headed by N Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress party of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
But during his speeches, Pawan targers Jagan and also BJP, much more than the TDP; more particularly the TDP president.
He has also been making serious allegation against Telangana Rashtra Samithi and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for helping YSRC. On the other hand, the Communists primarily attack TDP and the BJP, both.
On Wednesday, Mayawati focussed more on attacking TDP and Naidu, besides Congress and the BJP. But she had gone soft on the YSRC. She also did not make any comment against KCR or TRS.
The reason is simple: Mayawati wants the support of both KCR and Jagan, if she wants to fulfil her ambition of becoming the Prime Minister on behalf of the proposed federal front.
She is angry with Chandrababu Naidu, because he is trying to build up a front that comprises only anti-BJP parties, including the Congress. Since Mayawati does not entertain the Congress, she has called upon the people to defeat Naidu in the elections.
But in the post-election scenario, Pawan will not hesitate to support the TDP if such a situation arises, but he will not go with Jagan, as the latter is inclined towards the BJP.
With so many inherent contradictions within the alliance, one wonders how Pawan convinces the people to vote for his party!
