Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, serving as the president of the YSR Congress, is relying on mass contact and word-of-mouth publicity to disseminate information about his government's welfare and development programs to all households through his party workers.
Notably, he is focusing on the Godavari region, with his first Siddham meeting held in Bheemili and another scheduled in Eluru on either February 1 or February 3.
The initial meeting in Uttarandhra proved to be a blockbuster, with every available space filled by party cadres and the public.
Senior political analysts highlight that out of the 34 assembly seats in Uttarandhra, YSRC secured 28 in the 2019 elections.
Recognizing the significance of north Andhra for his party, the Chief Minister is prioritizing the region.
Analysts note that the Godavari and coastal districts were traditional strongholds of the Telugu Desam Party, and there is considerable support for Pawan Kalyan in the area.
Hence, Jagan Mohan Reddy is organizing a second meeting in Eluru, strategically targeting the Godavari region with its substantial 34 assembly seats.
YSRC regional coordinator and MP P V Midhun Reddy is personally overseeing the arrangements for the second Siddham meeting in Eluru.
A sprawling location spanning 100 acres has been chosen, situated approximately 5 km from Eluru town, to accommodate party leaders, cadres, and the public.
Midhun Reddy emphasized that the second Siddham regional meeting in Eluru is expected to be even more significant than the first in Bheemili.
He highlighted the close coordination with party leaders at the grassroots level, as well as MLAs and MPs, to ensure the success of the meeting.
