A storm is brewing over the allocation of over 50 acres of prime land — valued at Rs. 3,000 crore — to Ursa Clusters Private Limited, raising questions of political favoritism and backdoor dealings.
Former Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani has publicly accused Ursa Clusters promoter Abburi Satish of fraudulent activities and financial mismanagement.
Nani claims Satish previously defrauded several buyers through a failed company and is now benefiting from political connections to gain control of valuable government land.
Nani directly implicates sitting Vijayawada MP Kesineni Chinni, alleging that the land was allocated on Chinni’s recommendation.
“Why should land worth thousands of crores be attached to someone with such a dubious track record?” Nani questioned, pointing to Satish’s alleged past bankruptcy and misdealings.
Like the Telugu adage that goes, "theega laagithe donka kadilindi", the links to this land deal brought out other big names as well.
Jay Talluri, who recently appeared on pro-government media as a director of Ursa Clusters, reportedly founded the company just two months before.
Sources suggest that Talluri has strong political backing and personal ties to influential figures.
His brother, Dr Raja Talluri, is the father-in-law of CM Ramesh’s son, linking the matter to powerful circles in Andhra Pradesh politics.
Despite Ursa’s limited corporate history, observers note the company managed to secure high-value land swiftly — raising concerns over how regulatory and procedural requirements were bypassed.
Critics argue if this is the ease of doing business that AP government is campaigning.
The controversy continues to unfold, with opposition leaders calling for a transparent investigation into the land deal and the people behind it.
