Second 'Red Book' Is With Pawan Kalyan?

The term "Red Book" is stirring political controversy in Andhra Pradesh from quite sometime.

YCP leaders criticize it, claiming it functions as a parallel constitution and leads to the arrests of their supporters.

Recently, actor and YCP sympathizer Posani Krishna Murali was arrested, reigniting the debate between YCP and the ruling alliance.

Former YCP MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar from Visakha South strongly condemned the arrests, alleging that the "Red Book constitution" is being enforced to justify them.

Vasupalli claims there are not one but two Red Books.

He accuses Minister Nara Lokesh of maintaining a list of targets, leading to arrests, but also alleges that Jana Sena leader and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has a second Red Book.

According to him, Pawan Kalyan included the names of YCP leaders he dislikes, resulting in arrests like that of Posani Krishna Murali.

While YCP leaders have long accused Lokesh of orchestrating arrests, Vasupalli’s claim about a second Red Book has created a sensation.

He asserts that Pawan Kalyan is also responsible for the crackdown on YCP leaders and that these actions aim to suppress opposition to the ruling coalition.
