According to the latest six-month circulation report released by the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), Sakshi has made its way into the top ten newspapers in the country.
Among Telugu dailies, Eenadu maintained its lead with a circulation of 14.89 lakh copies, followed by Sakshi at 12.47 lakh copies. Andhra Jyothi trailed significantly with a circulation of 3.93 lakh copies.
Nationally, Hindi dailies dominate, with Dainik Bhaskar leading at 30 lakh copies and Dainik Jagran at 24 lakh copies, owing to their wide reach across multiple states.
In comparison, Telugu newspapers have limited reach, confined to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Despite fluctuations caused by political factors and state policies the print media continues to face challenges with declining overall readership.
The long-term sustainability of print media remains uncertain amid the digital revolution and social media.
However, the newspaper business has an opportunity to get significant amounts in the name of government Ads based on circulation reports. So the rankings given by ABC are crucial.
