Even as the seat-sharing talks between Telugu Desam Party and Jana Sena Party are still going on, social media has already decided who is going to contest from where on behalf of these two parties.
According to the reports in the social media, if at all they are correct, the two parties have come to an understanding on 13 Lok Sabha seats, out of the total number of 25 seats in the state.
While the TDP has finalised the names in 11 seats, Jana Sena has been given two Lok Sabha seats, as per the understanding. Negotiations are going on for the remaining 12 seats and the Jana Sena Party might get another two seats.
According to these reports, three sitting YSR Congress party MPs, who quit their party and defected to the TDP and Jana Sena Party will be contesting their respective seats again.
They are: Kanmuru Raghu Ramakrishna Raju (Narasarpuram) and Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu (Narsaraopet) from TDP and Vallabhaneni Balashowry (Machilipatnam) from Jana Sena.
Apart from Machilipatnam, Jana Sena Party has been given Kakinada Lok Sabha seat and the party is learnt to have decided the candidature of Sana Satish Babu, a businessman-turned-politician, who was arrested in connection with a money laundering case in 2019, but was released later.
The TDP is understood to have finalised the names of K Rammohan Naidu (Srikakulam), Bairi Dilip Chakravarthy (Anakapalle), M Bharat (Visakhapatnam), K Raghu Ramakrishna Raju (Narasapuram), Gopal Yadav (Eluru), Kesineni Shivanah alias Chinni (Vijayawada), L Sri Krishna Devarayalu (Narsaraopet), Angalakurthy Niharika (Tirupati-SC), S Balasubrahmanyam (Rajampet), B K Parthsarathy (Hindupur) and Kalva Srinivasulu (Anantapuram).
The TDP aspirants for other seats include: Kandi Chandresekhar/Venkatesh (Vizianagaram), Kambhampati Rammohan Rao/Boddu Venkataramana/Ganni Krishna/Sistla Lohit (Rajahmundry), Ganti Harish (Amalapuram), Pemmasani Chandrasekhar/Bhashyam Ramakrishna (Guntur), Vundavalli Sridevi/Panabaka Lakshmi/Palaparthi Manoj Kumar/MS Raju (Bapatla).
The names of candidates for other Lok Sabha seats will be shortlisted, once the seat sharing talks with Jana Sena come to a conclusion, sources said.
