Roadshows In Narrow Roads Are Death Beds

Be it Chandrababu or any other politician, they feel a strategy in conducting public meetings in the narrow streets and roads of towns and villages.

Generally, the public meetings have to be held in open grounds where the people can be accommodated in large numbers.

But to show the tight packed gathering on cameras, the politicians prefer narrow roads and streets. Obviously, there would be around some 10000 people in the gathering but that may end up as a stampede.

The recent Kandukuru stampede during CBN's public meeting is an example of this. Similar thing happened during the Godavari pushkaram when CBN arrived at the pushkar ghat.

He always wishes to record the highest number of crowds in his presence, but never bothers about their safety.

The governments also should avoid giving permissions to such political meetings in narrow roads.

In the case of Kandukuru mishap, both the government and the opposition party deserve the blame.
