YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has allotted portfolios to the newly inducted cabinet ministers, within a couple of hours of they took their oath of office and secrecy at Secretariat.
While Buggana continues to hold the portfolio of the finance and skill-development (which was earlier held by late Mekapti Goutham Reddy), Narayana Swamy and Appala Raju continue to hold the portfolios of Excise and Fisheries respectively.
Similarly, Amzad Basha retains his minority welfare portfolio and Gummanuru Jayaram continues to hold the labour portfolio.
Senior minister Dharmana Prasada Rao was given the revenue, registration and stamps portfolio, which was earlier held by his brother Dharmana Krishna Das.
The portfolios of other ministers are:
Botsa Satyanarayana – Education; Peedika Rajanna Dora – Tribal Welfare; Gudivada Amarnath – Industries and Commercial Taxes; Budi Muthyala Naidu – Panchayat Raj; Dadishetty Raja – Roads and Buildings; Pinipe Vishwaroop – Transport; Chelluboyina Venugopala Krishna – Information and Cinematography; Taneti Vanitha – Home and Disaster Management;
Karumuri Nageshwar Rao – Civil Supplies; Kottu Satyanarayana – Endowments; Jogi Ramesh – Housing; Meruga Nagarjuna – Social Welfare; Vidadala Rajini – Medical and Health; Ambati Rambabu – Irrigation; Adimulapu Suresh – Municipal Administration and Urban Development; Kakani Goverdhan Reddy – Agriculture, cooperation and food processing;
Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy – Power, Forest, Environment, Science and Technology; R K Roja – Tourism, Culture and Youth Services; Ushasri Charan – Women Development and Child Welfare.
Jagan also continued the policy of appointing five deputy chief ministers in the reshuffled cabinet also. They are: Peedika Rajanna Dora; Budi Muthyala Naidu; Kottu Satyanarayana; K Narayana Swamy and Md Amzad Basha – the last two from the previous cabinet.
