Former TDP minister Ravela Kishore Babu is joining the Bharat Rastra Samithi of Telangana chief minister KCR.
Kishore Babu, along with retired IAS officer Thota Chandrasekhar and retired IRS officer Chintala Pardhasaradhi, are joining the BRS in the presence of KCR in Hyderabad on Monday.
Sources say that Thota Chandrasekhar would be the BRS AP unit president, who representing the strong Kapu community in the state.
Chandrasekhar entered active politics in 2009 with the Praja Rajyam Party and unsuccessfully contested from Guntur Lok Sabha constituency.
He then moved to the YSR Congress and was again unsuccessful at the Eluru Lok Sabha constituency in 2014.
Chandrasekhar then moved to the Jana Sena and lost the Assembly elections from the Guntur West in 2019.
An IRTS officer Ravela Kishore Babu won on TDP ticket from Prathipadu in Guntur in 2014. He was made Minister in the Naidu cabinet.
However, after he was dropped from the cabinet in 2017, he became silent and subsequently joined the Jana Sena before the 2019 election and lost the polls.
He then joined the BJP, but within one year, he left the party. He tried to join the BSP but did not make this move as Mayawati did honour his request to be made as the AP BSP president.
Pardhasaradhi contested unsuccessfully from Anakapalli Lok Sabha constituency on Jana Sena ticket.
Another leader, Thummalasetty Jayaprakash Narayana joined active politics in Praja Rajyam Party and contested from Ananthapur Assembly constituency in 2009. After the defeat, he had been inactive and now joining the BRS.
