It looks like Rapaka Varaprasad, the lone legislator of Jana Sena Party in the state assembly, has made up his mind to call it quits to the party and join the YSR Congress party sooner or later.
Rapaka, who is representing Razole constituency in East Godavari district, reiterated his stand on Saturday in support of shifting of the administrative capital of Andhra Pradesh from Amaravati to Visakhapatnam, even as his party boss and power star Pawan Kalyan has taken a firm stand against moving the capital from Amaravati.
He defended chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's announcement of the proposal of three capitals in Andhra Pradesh.
The MLA told reporters at Tirumala on Saturday morning said the three capitals plan was very ideals for the state.
He alleged that Hyderabad was the only place which was developed in united Andhra Pradesh and the remaining districts were neglected. He believes that the proposal of three capitals would develop all regions equally.
Rapaka said he would stand by the chief minister for a good cause. He also lauded Jagan for implementing several welfare schemes for all the sections of people.
He accused the previous TDP government of forcibly encroaching on farmers lands. However, he requested the government to address the concerns of Amaravati farmers.
